J.B. & Co. is where the group began. It has distributed petroleum products and lubricants since 1948, for Pakistan Petroleum Corporation and then for Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation, and it wholesales agricultural fertilizer to the country's farms. Trishna Filling Station, open since 1973, is the retail end of that same supply: a Dhaka forecourt that serves about a million vehicles a year.
Harun Solar is the newest of the three. It imports solar panels and systems with Chinese associates and installs them on plants, factories and homes, with local crews doing the installation and the service. The pattern is the one J.B. & Co. set in 1948: bring the supply in, and deliver it to the people who need it.
