Hosne Ara Corporation has traded since 1996 and works on demand. A client asks for plastics machinery, used cars from Japan, Korean motorcycles, computers, shoes, blankets, fire extinguishers or marine engines, and the company sources it and brings it in. The list is long because the clients are varied; the method is the same each time.
Exports go the other way: potato, leather goods, coconut shell charcoal, jute and jute stick, and plastic preforms, sold to partners in China, Korea, Japan, the United States, India, the United Kingdom, Turkey and Senegal. The company also trades scrap by the ton and dismantles retired ships, returning the steel to the market.
