Hosne Ara Corporation is the group's trading house. Since 1996 it has imported whatever a client needs: machinery for plastics manufacturing, used cars from Japan, motorcycles from Korea, computers, shoes, blankets, fire extinguishers and marine engines. The list is open. If a client in Bangladesh needs it and it can be bought abroad, the company sources it, ships it and clears it.
Exports go the other way. The company sells potato, leather goods, coconut shell charcoal, jute and jute stick, and plastic preforms to buyers abroad. It also trades scrap by the ton and dismantles retired ships, returning their steel to the market.
Its trading partners are in China, Korea, Japan, the United States, India, the United Kingdom, Turkey and Senegal: eight countries across Asia, Europe, North America and Africa.

What we do
